Cedric brushed a lock of Allison's hair from her face. "You have freedom. You'll have to run from place to place for the rest of your life if you're with me."

Allison shook her head, "I'll be alone."

Cedric sighed. "That isn't always a bad thing." He stated. "You would be safe."

Allison shook her head, "I said I don't want to be alone. I've never been alone." Allison hugged him tighter. "Do you love me anymore?" She asked.

Cedric looked at her. "Yes." He said. "Every day I see Masen I'm reminded of you."

"Then why do you want to leave me again?" Allison asked, "Why can't I stay with you?"

"It's not safe. It really wasn't safe before." Cedric replied. "Masen will be alright because he's at least half vampire. You on the other hand are fully human."

"Then turn me." Allison whispered, "I want to be with you."

Cedric drew breath in it was almost a hiss. "I don't want to take your life." He said.

Cedric sighed. "Once you're changed you're stuck like that. I don't want to be responsible for that."

"But I want to Cedric, it's the only way I can be with you." She whispered.

Cedric sighed. "Not here though." He said. When the elevator doors opened he pulled her out into the hotel lobby. "We need to go somewhere where no one will hear you."
